The Problem
uRisk were approached by a nationwide charity to provide legionella sampling across their entire store portfolio based on their legionella risk assessments from a third party.
Our Findings
The legionella sample results from a UKAS accredited lab returned legionella positive in a number of locations but not all. A plan of action was then implemented as identified below.
The Solution
Legionella Sampling
Legionella sampling was undertaken across all stores at the locations identified by the legionella risk assessment. Sampling was undertaken at all sentinel points to provide a full and holistic view of the water systems micro-bacterial status.
Legionella Remedial Works
Remedial action to reduce all risks across the chain were scheduled by our co-ordinator in a fashion that would work with the customers budget restraints and continue to manage the risk of exposure to legionella.
