Antimony Analysis 

Antimony is a metal that is found naturally in rocks, soils and water. It is widely used in the manufacturing of products such as batteries, pigments, flame retardants, ceramics and glass. It becomes a problem when it enters groundwater as runoff from manufacturing processes and then enters the drinking water system.

There is a possibility that small quantities of antimony may enter your water system from brass tap fittings and lead-free solders. Regular testing is necessary because antimony can only be detected through chemical testing – it is colourless, odourless and tasteless in water.

Your sample results are tested in a UKAS approve laboratory and sent to you in PDF format in 10-14 days.
